Hi Dave--I'm helping the ITA get the word out about International Trombone Week (ITW). It starts tomorrow and runs through the 10th (4/3-10, 2011).
ITW events are planned all over the globe and there's still time for trombone players and their friends to find a way to have fun and celebrate.
If you can please include mention of it in your programming (with maybe a special trombone recording?) and encourage your listeners to contribute to the celebration, too! Many thanks.Colleen
For more information, please visit the ITW site:http://trombone.net/itw/
Glad I found your website. I heard you playing lead trombone in Jim Widner's Big Band at MMEA recently and I was very impressed. I just heard that you are teaching at Lindbergh and U. of Missouri St. Louis. I have a couple of good jazz trombone students I would like to see if you could give them lessons. Please let me know.
My name is derrick and im a up coming trombone player. Im 25 yrs old and is looking to step out a little further in my craft. I really like meeting new people especially fellow trombone players.
